Background Music

The background music played during the opening credits is "Spider Eyes" which we found on a Royalty Free Website and felt was appropriate to the theme of the movie, and fitted well with the other Extra Diegetic sound playing over the music.
Avoiding stereotypical horror movie soundtracks with jumpy music to frighten the audience, we felt that the eery piano piece added suspense and ambiguity to the opening credits, as the audience is at this point oblivious to what is happening/ going to happen, and only gets a glimpse of this as the female character's voice can be heard. I think the piece fitted well with the movie and added to the ambiguity portrayed in the high angle panning of the photographs.

Final Edit, Horror Film Opening

This is the final edit of our 2 minute Horror Film opening, which we have only just managed to upload. I am now able to complete the evaluation as due to problems with the software this was the first time I was able to see the entire finished film.

First Draft of Movie Opening

Because we had various problems with saving our finished movie, were were only able to upload this version, which is unfinished and without the correct sound effects. However it does illustrate the basic ideas and storyline of our film, and will help us with our evaluations. We are still trying to upload the final edit, but complications with the software make it very difficult to do so, and we will therefore be using this version to complete our evaluations as far as possible.
